Description
This hand-dyed tenugui features Kiritsugikomon (切継小紋), a traditional Japanese patchwork-style design that brings together a variety of small, intricate patterns known as komon.
Inspired by the Japanese tradition of combining different pieces of patterned fabric, the design creates a beautiful harmony of contrasting motifs. Each pattern has its own character, yet together they form a balanced and visually rich composition, reflecting the creativity and refined aesthetics of traditional Japanese textiles.
By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.

Care instructions
- Wash separately from other clothing by hand for the first few washes, as this is a hand-dyed product.
- Avoid using bleach or detergent containing bleach.
- After washing, allow it to dry completely.
- When fraying occurs, trim the loose horizontal threads, leaving about 5mm of the vertical fringe. Repeat this process several times until the fraying stops.
