Description
Tonbo(Dragonfly) was called "Kachi-mushi" in ancient times. "Kachi" in Japanese means "Win", so the symbol was especially popular among Samurai-warriors, who used them as patterns on their armor. Dragonflies can also be seen in yukata and kasuri patterns from the Edo period (1603-1868) to the present day.
By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.
