Description
Adorable piglets are a favorite among children and are well-known in animated characters. Pigs love to play in the mud, and there are good reasons for this. Their thick subcutaneous fat makes it difficult for them to regulate body temperature. By wallowing in mud, they can cool down more efficiently, as the mudwater on their skin helps to prolong the cooling effect. Additionally, a mud bath helps to remove insects clinging to their body. In Japan, the sound pigs make is described as 'ブーブー' (Boo Boo), in English, it's 'Oink Oink,' and in Dutch, 'Knor Knor.' How is the pig's oink expressed in your native language?
