Our 'Autumn Leaves and Japanese Rowan' tenugui design features the vivid colors of autumn leaves paired with the bright red berries of the Japanese Rowan tree, also known as Nanakamado. This pattern captures the essence of fall, with its warm, vibrant hues and the striking contrast of red berries, symbolizing the beauty of the changing season.

By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.

  • Wash separately from other clothing by hand for the first few washes, as this is a hand-dyed product.
  • Avoid using bleach or detergent containing bleach.
  • After washing, allow it to dry completely.
  • When fraying occurs, trim the loose horizontal threads, leaving about 5mm of the vertical fringe. Repeat this process several times until the fraying stops.
