Description
This hand-dyed tenugui evokes a peaceful autumn evening in the Japanese countryside, with a group of red dragonflies flying above the rice fields as the day begins to fade.
In Japan, red dragonflies are a familiar and nostalgic sight of autumn, often associated with rural landscapes, rice fields, and the warm glow of the evening sky. Though simple in design, this tenugui beautifully captures the quiet atmosphere and gentle beauty of the changing season.
Carefully hand-dyed using traditional techniques, its understated design brings a touch of Japanese autumn into everyday life. It can be enjoyed as a lightweight cotton towel or displayed as seasonal wall art.
