Description
This hand-dyed tenugui captures the quiet beauty of autumn, with clusters of ripe grapes hanging from the vine and a single ruribitaki perched among the branches. The rich purple grapes and the bird's brilliant sapphire-blue plumage create a graceful harmony of colors that celebrates the season.
Admired for its vivid blue feathers, the ruribitaki is a treasured sight in Japan's forests. Adult males develop their brilliant sapphire-blue plumage in their second year, making encounters with this beautiful bird all the more special.
Carefully hand-dyed using traditional techniques, this elegant tenugui brings together the abundance of autumn and the beauty of Japanese nature. Whether displayed as wall art, used as a lightweight cotton towel, or given as a thoughtful gift, it adds a refined seasonal touch to everyday life.
By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.
