Cats have long held a special place in Japanese life and culture, often seen as symbols of good fortune, protection, and independence. From the lucky maneki-neko to cats lounging in temples and alleyways, their mysterious yet familiar presence continues to capture hearts.

 

By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.

  • Made in Japan
  • Wash separately from other clothing by hand for the first few washes, as this is a hand-dyed product.
  • Avoid using bleach or detergent containing bleach.
  • After washing, allow it to dry completely.
  • When fraying occurs, trim the loose horizontal threads, leaving about 5mm of the vertical fringe. Repeat this process several times until the fraying stops.
