Description Grapes are believed to have been introduced through the Silk Road. In the prominent grape-producing region of Katsunuma in Yamanashi Prefecture, there is a legend that dates back to the early Nara period (around 7th to 8th centuries). It suggests that the monk Gyoki (668-749), who was inspired by divine revelation, spread the cultivation of grapes in this area.
By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.

Wash separately from other clothing by hand for the first few washes, as this is a hand-dyed product.
Avoid using bleach or detergent containing bleach.
After washing, allow it to dry completely.
When fraying occurs, trim the loose horizontal threads, leaving about 5mm of the vertical fringe. Repeat this process several times until the fraying stops.
