Description
Fresh and full of early summer charm, this hand-dyed tenugui features broad beans with their plump green pods and vibrant leaves. In Japan, broad beans are known as *soramame*, meaning "sky beans," because their pods grow facing upward toward the sky.
Cultivated across Western Asia and Europe since ancient times, broad beans have also long been enjoyed in Japan as a beloved seasonal vegetable. Their fresh green color makes them a cheerful symbol of early summer.
Carefully hand-dyed using traditional techniques, this tenugui beautifully captures the natural beauty of broad beans, bringing a refreshing seasonal touch to your home or everyday life.
