This tenugui features one of the most iconic works of Japanese art—Hokusai’s The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
The breathtaking composition, with its towering cresting wave and the distant peak of Mt. Fuji, expresses a powerful contrast between stillness and movement, near and far, humanity and nature, sea and sky.

Care instructions
- Wash separately from other clothing by hand for the first few washes, as this is a hand-dyed product.
- Avoid using bleach or detergent containing bleach.
- After washing, allow it to dry completely.
- When fraying occurs, trim the loose horizontal threads, leaving about 5mm of the vertical fringe. Repeat this process several times until the fraying stops.
