Description
Hina dolls represent a traditional imperial wedding ceremony, and as part of this symbolism, bridal trousseau items brought by the bride are displayed alongside them. This tenugui features an array of these traditional items, including palanquins and ox-drawn carts used for the bride's journey, tansu chests and nagamochi trunks for storing clothes, hasamibako (accessory boxes), mirrors for makeup, sewing boxes, hibachi braziers, tea utensils, and even decorative items like temari balls and tsuzumi drums.
By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.
