Description

This tenugui features a delightful depiction of cats and mice. While mice are considered vermin for eating stored rice and grains, they have also been revered as symbols of abundance and prosperity, often honored alongside Daikokuten, the god of wealth. Cats, cherished for their ability to catch mice, have been kept and cared for by humans throughout history. The playful chase between cats and mice is a humorous and timeless sight, adding a touch of charm to this design.
