Description
Since ancient times, the Japanese have cherished cherry blossoms for their breathtaking beauty and fleeting nature. After enduring the long, harsh winter, the arrival of spring is eagerly anticipated, and the cherry blossoms seem to embody this long-awaited moment. Their warm, delicate blooms not only captivate the eye but also deepen the feeling of spring’s arrival for those who admire them.
Even before the flowers bloom, people eagerly await their opening, marking the progress with terms like "three-tenths bloom," "five-tenths bloom," and "seven-tenths bloom." Just as the blossoms reach their peak, a gust of wind or sudden rain can quickly end their season. This transience—this fleeting beauty—resonates deeply in the hearts of those who behold it, reminding us not only of life's impermanence but also of the importance of living in the present moment.
