Description

Yuzu has been one of the most cherished citrus fruits in Japan since ancient times. It was common for households to have a yuzu tree planted in their garden for personal use. In the kitchen, the fragrant yuzu is enjoyed in dishes like yuzu pepper (yuzu kosho) or as a garnish, and on the winter solstice, families would soak in a yuzu-infused bath to warm themselves. The yuzu tree enriches both the body and soul, adding warmth and comfort to rural life.

By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.

  • Wash separately from other clothing by hand for the first few washes, as this is a hand-dyed product.
  • Avoid using bleach or detergent containing bleach.
  • After washing, allow it to dry completely.
  • When fraying occurs, trim the loose horizontal threads, leaving about 5mm of the vertical fringe. Repeat this process several times until the fraying stops.
