Description
Goldfish scooping is a quintessential part of Japanese summer. Many Japanese people fondly remember scooping goldfish at summer festivals during their childhood. The inclusion of 'kin' (meaning gold) in their name has historically led to the belief that goldfish can enhance financial fortune. Additionally, their prolific breeding has been associated with fertility and blessings in childbearing. In Japan, the color red, prominent in many goldfish, is thought to ward off evil spirits, thereby contributing to health and well-being. With these associations, goldfish have long been considered auspicious symbols of abundance and good fortune.

By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.
