This tenugui features bright, cheerful mandarins—mikan, a beloved winter fruit in Japan.
During the cold season, sweet mikan fill homes across the country, often shared among family while relaxing together under a warm kotatsu (heated table).
Hand-dyed with care, this design brings a sense of comfort and togetherness, adding a touch of cozy Japanese winter to your everyday life.

Care instructions
- Wash separately from other clothing by hand for the first few washes, as this is a hand-dyed product.
- Avoid using bleach or detergent containing bleach.
- After washing, allow it to dry completely.
- When fraying occurs, trim the loose horizontal threads, leaving about 5mm of the vertical fringe. Repeat this process several times until the fraying stops.
