During a sumo tournament, there is a ceremonial ritual performed before the matches begin, where the top-ranked wrestlers, known as 'rikishi,' donned in lavish silk aprons called 'kesho-mawashi,' gather in a circle on the sumo ring. This ceremony is called the 'dohyo-iri.' The highest-ranked sumo wrestler, the 'Yokozuna,' performs an additional, more elaborate solo dohyo-iri, accompanied by two attendants, the 'tachimochi' (sword bearer) and 'tsuyuharai' (dew sweeper), following ancient traditions.
