Description The plover pattern represents a collective term for a group of shorebirds known for their synchronized flight. This pattern has been popular since the Heian period (794-1185) and is even featured in traditional Japanese poetry. The plover, known for flying over the waves and raising their young together as a couple, symbolizes "overcoming rough seas together." It conveys the wishes for domestic safety, marital harmony, and good luck. The plover pattern serves as a powerful symbol representing these positive aspirations.
By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.

Wash separately from other clothing by hand for the first few washes, as this is a hand-dyed product.
Avoid using bleach or detergent containing bleach.
After washing, allow it to dry completely.
When fraying occurs, trim the loose horizontal threads, leaving about 5mm of the vertical fringe. Repeat this process several times until the fraying stops.
