Description

In Japanese tradition, the white snake is considered a sacred messenger of 'Benzaiten'—the goddess of wealth, prosperity, and the arts.
Visiting shrines dedicated to 'Benzaiten' is believed to bring good fortune, especially in matters of finance. One of the most well-known sites is the White Snake Shrine in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, where a white snake is enshrined as a divine symbol of financial luck, thriving business, and long life. Each year, many visitors come to offer prayers for prosperity, success, and well-being.

By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.
