Description
The plover pattern represents a collective term for a group of shorebirds known for their synchronized flight. This pattern has been popular since the Heian period (794-1185) and is even featured in traditional Japanese poetry.
The plover, known for flying over the waves and raising their young together as a couple, symbolizes "overcoming rough seas together." It conveys the wishes for domestic safety, marital harmony, and good luck. The plover pattern serves as a powerful symbol representing these positive aspirations.

By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.
